PANEL 01 · THE DESK
I started the way most of us start: copying cartoons off a screen too small for them, in the margins of notebooks that were supposed to be for school. The margins ran out before the drawings did.
The early years taught me speed and nerve. Going professional added deadlines; I kept everything else exactly as it was.
Nobody taught me the rules, so I never learned which ones to obey.

The working rule: no stock, no templates, no borrowed style. If it appears on this site, it was drawn, lettered, or built by the same pair of hands — including the skull that met you at the door.
